Artist Introduction

Fan Shuo, courtesy name Bofeng, was born in 1962 in Zhengding, Hebei. He is a council member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of its Running Script Committee and professor of its Training Center, Vice-Chairman of the Hebei Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Vice-Chairman of the Hebei Calligraphers Association, and a National First-Class Artist. Since 1987 his works have won provincial and national prizes, including the Excellence Award of the first Lanting Award of Chinese calligraphy, and he has served as juror at major exhibitions of the Chinese Calligraphers Association.
