Artist Introduction

Deng Lingying (Yu Xuan Gege), a descendant of the Aisin Gioro imperial clan, is a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, vice-president of the China Women’s Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and chief calligrapher of BadouArt. Guided by masters including Pu Jie, Qi Gong, Liu Bingsen and Mi Nanyang, she devoted herself to clerical script, creating her own distinctive style from the spirit of the Han steles Zhang Qian Bei, Yi Ying Bei, Li Qi Bei and Cao Quan Bei. Her clerical-script works and inscriptions are widely collected and admired.
