Women Calligraphers Committee: 8th CCA Roster and Works
The China Calligraphers Association’s eighth Women Calligraphers Committee brings together the country’s leading female ink artists. Chaired by Sun Xiaoyun—the first woman to lead the association—the committee counts five vice chairs and forty members drawn from provinces, ministries and industries nationwide.

The Leadership
- **Chair:** Sun Xiaoyun (b. 1955), president of the China Calligraphers Association
- **Vice chairs:** Luo Pengpeng, Zhang Hongchun, Hu Qiuping, An Wenli
- **Secretary-general:** Li Lin; **deputy secretary-general:** Xie Xiaoqing


Selected Members and Their Honors
**Wei Siqin** (b. 1966), CCA director and vice chair of the Anhui association, won the first prize of the second Lanting Award and the national award of the sixth national exhibition, and has published five essay collections, winning the eighth Bingxin Prose Award.


**Fang Fang** (b. 1968), CCA director and vice chair of the Beijing association, has shown in the fifth and sixth Lanting Awards and the tenth through twelfth national exhibitions.


**Lin Yumei** (b. 1972), CCA director and director of the Zhangzhou Art Museum, took the third prize of the fifth Lanting Award and first prize of the sixth couplet exhibition, and authored *Decoding the Lingfei Sutra*.

**Hu Qiuping** (b. 1962), CCA director and researcher at the China National Academy of Painting, has shown in five consecutive national exhibitions and published nine books on cursive script.
